Today was the day when the jinx was finally over. I was back to cycling after a very long time. Last week was the preparation of getting the cycles ready, doing short rides to get back into the same feeling and rhythm which is so important for enjoying cycling.

Started out from Bhosale Nagar, then to Range Hills road, further left via Swayambhu Shiv Mandir to reach back gate of University of Pune. Not allowed to enter the university campus, I turned back and cycled via QMTI (Queen Mary Technical Institute for the disabled soldiers) and Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre to reach Bopodi. Further rode via the fish market and Spicer College to Bremen chowk.

Left turn at Bremen chowk was a pleasant surprise. The cycle track on Ganeshkhind Road was in reasonably good shape. Got onto this track and cycled all the way to the main gate of university. The ride was slightly under an hour. Although I had started out rather late, the weather was nice.

When I started out, I was not sure as how much I would be able to ride as I was back on the saddle after a long time. Happy that I am back to cycling and found the rhythm.
