My pictures with their little stories

Milind Vishwas Sathe’s solo photography exhibition at Nehru Centre Art Gallery, Worli, Mumbai in August 2016 was visited by several eminent artists. This photo exhibition was titled “My pictures with their little stories”. Each picture was shot in the first place because there was a story. This story with the photograph makes the complete picture. This fundraiser exhibition or a charity show raised funds for Nana Palkar Smruti Samiti, which supports poor cancer patients by way of accommodation at Mumbai.

Pictures from the Photo Exhibition

The main gallery at Nehru Centre, Worli, Mumbai is a large gallery. It is not easy to mount a solo exhibition as the number of artworks required to fill up the display walls at this gallery is quite a challenge.

Here are some of the pictures that were displayed at this exhibition.

Fundraiser Show

This solo photography exhibition by Milind Vishwas Sathe was a fundraiser show to raise funds for Nana Palkar Smruti Samiti. They provide accommodation to poor cancer patients undergoing treatment for cancer at Mumbai. The exhibition received excellent response from connoisseurs as well as donors who supported the cause.

World Photography Day

It was also a happy coincidence that World Photography Day on 19 August was celebrated during the span of this exhibition which was from 16 August to 22 August 2016.

Special thanks

Special thanks to Shri. Ramakrishna Telang whose efforts were instrumental in making this show happen and its success.
