Ram Mandir procession at Chennai

As we stepped out from the Hanuman temple in Ashoknagar, Chennai and started walking, a grand procession was passing by. It was colourful and full of energy. When we went close, realised that it had a wooden chariot pulled by several people. The chariot was beautifully illuminated and carried cutouts of the images of Lord Shriram, Sita, Laxman and Hanuman.

Devotees were chanting and dancing. There were volunteers who were collecting donations from people who were lining up. The chariot was being taken through various lanes and by lanes. Anyone who doubted the the Ram Mandir movement should see and experience the energy levels at one of these processions. They will realise the strength of the faith that multitudes have for Ram Mandir.
