On a trail in Smoky mountains
Had never imagined that smoky mountains national park would have such a large expanse with so many trails and beautiful drives. Here are pictures from one of the trails that we did. There was a wooden bridge over a rivulet at the start of this trail. The wooden bridge brought back memories of all the bridges in the mountains that one had crossed over the years.
For a major part of this trail, we were walking close to the flowing water which ensured a constant and deep sound of the flowing water.
Each time, the flow of water encountered a rock, the backflow created beautiful patterns on the surface of the water.
